Spreading the Word

Battle.net Game ListRecently, a visitor of this website has donated a Ghost++ Bot to use with the latest 6v6 DotA map. Right now it's running a "Download Only" game with fast download speeds on three different Battle.net realms (east, west, and europe). This is an attempt to spread the word, and ensure that many people have the map pre-downloaded and ready to play.

This means that you should now be able to host a 6v6 DotA game on Battle.net and have plenty of people to join.

A big thanks to Fligglebleh for supplying the 6v6 DotA community with this service.

what we really need is a lainbot that isn't download only or people with cable internet hosting and letting everyone download from them.

I plan on turning the download only bot into a game hosting bot once I get a few things updated on it.

The download only bot has changed into a game hosting bot. Go to channel 6v6DotA in Battle.net, and the bot will announce when it's creating the next game. If the bot isn't in the channel, then it's hosting a game that you can join.

I will make a news post about this when I feel it's working smoothly.

I've been hosting frequently, but with 6.65 out it's harder to get people to join an older version.
I'll keep hosting either way, just a bit less until the 6.65 comes out.

P.S.
Seen the bot. Good work.
